Artist's Comments

I think, but I am not sure, that these are some old, and partially eroded tailing piles. They were maybe 10m high. The material was very dark, close to black. The color, together with the undulating curves of the piles, creates a very strange landscape.

Being a male, I immediately think of naughty things when looking at curves. ;)

Somewhere around Monument Valley. B&W film, 1997.
