Artist's Comments

Coiled air hoses in a sand blasting workshop. Taken in a shipyard. This is the area where steel plates get cleaned prior to being painted. It was a gritty, dirty place.

B&W film, pre-1997. Post-processed for lith print look.

They are not sikrit, but change from pic to pic...this one actually just required sharpening using Smart Sharpening filter (applied 3 times with decreasing filter size and increasing strength), and overall exposure/contrast adjustments. Ofc, being film, there was some grain to begin with, and the sharpening brings it out.

Love that grain! I'm more a Nikon Software person, they have a structure filter that makes some great sharpening! Thanks for sharing :w00t:
